Farm cart design-build

MIT Farm Cart Debut, August 

At the Sustainability Midway event, MIT Farm debuts with the farm cart. There was a lot of engagement around the cart itself as an object which led to a number of students signing up to be part of our mailing list and our subsequent programming.

MIT Farm Picnic

The farm cart was wheeled to the grass lawn in the Kresge Oval, in front of the Student Center, a location visible to most students returning from class. We received fresh produce generously provided by Hannan Farms.










Fall 2025


Design begins for MIT Farm greenhouse site, granted by the Open Space Committee

MIT Farm Club continues to plan workshops, CSA bagshares and volunteer at partner farms  through the semester (Eastie Farms, Hannan Farms, BMC Farms)
